Women’s Ministry

Mother's Board Mission Statement

The Mother’s board primary mission is to be a Godly example for the young ladies.

(Titus 2:3-5… “The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.”)

As for the younger members, we will be there for them to give them an outlet where they may have someone that they can trust to come to with all of their concerns, when they feel they cannot go to their parents or anyone else. We want to exercise our strength for the church by being a good parent in the Lord for every member.

We also want to be a pillar for our Pastor to help hold her up and to give encouragement where needed. (Exodus 17:12… But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.)

In all of our doings we want to show love to all no matter what the situation is.

My role and responsibilities as president is to ensure we adhere to this mission are as follows:

Lead the board in ensuring it functions effectively

Guide the group towards achieving the objectives by carrying out activities along each avenue of service.

In closing, in addition to the spiritual part of the board, the effectiveness is very important. As president I will assess the current state of the board by identifying its strengths and weaknesses and set goals for improvements.
